- Glass Quality Vision System โ GQVS
- Installed after the glass washing machine, GQVS scans the complete glass surface. Detects: Scratches Breakages Air bubbles Chips Contamination Water residues Other surface defects It's suitable for raw, cut or ground glass. Individual sensitivity levels can be set for different defect types and different areas of the glass.
- Print Quality Vision System โ PQVS
- Installed immediately after the printing machine, PQVS automatically inspects the printed image. Detects: Smearing Widening of printed details Pinholes Faded dots Missing elements Print defects High-resolution linear cameras inspect fine print details against predefined tolerances stored within the inspection recipe. Importantly, the system can provide feedback allowing automatic correction of the screen-frame position without stopping the conveyor.

- Automatic Screen Registration โ ASR
- Uses two cameras positioned beneath the printing table together with servo-controlled positioning to automatically align the screen with the glass. Alignment settings are stored within the production recipe, reducing setup time and making product changeovers faster and more repeatable.
- Broken Screen Detection โ BSD
- Automatically detects ink leaking through a damaged screen onto the underside of the glass. A dedicated camera monitors ink transferred onto a white reference roller. Cugher states that the system can identify ink spots as small as 1 mm in diameter, regardless of their position on the glass.
- Ink Detection System โ IDS
- Detects unwanted ink residues on the lower surface of the glass before they contaminate conveyors or cause subsequent production defects. Linear cameras and dedicated lighting inspect a white reference roller, with the results processed in real time and communicated directly to the PLC.
- Broken Edges Detector โ BED
- Inspects the edges and corners of the glass before critical operations such as printing, bending or tempering. The system automatically adapts to different glass formats and provides real-time defect visualisation and communication with the production-line PLC.
