From a used machinery dealer to a multi brand group
Stone & Glass Group has grown through a sequence of deliberate moves: into stone in 2017, into UK manufacturing in 2024, and into the wider European market thereafter. Each step has added engineering depth and brought another team of specialists in-house.
The journey begins
Founded as Erteka, selling used glass machinery in the UK.
Expansion into stone
Launched SMC Stone Machinery, becoming the Stone & Glass Group.
Advance Systems acquired
Brought the Birmingham hot melt manufacturer in-house, gaining 30+ years of IGU expertise.
William Design joins
Welcomed William Design Ltd into the group, broadening the portfolio further.
Atlantic Machinery acquired
Added the Hinckley based glass washing and IG assembly manufacturer, with 36 years of UK engineering heritage.
