Bovone ELB 10 Straight-Line Glass Edging Machine

The Bovone ELB 10 is a high-performance straight-line glass edging machine designed to produce consistently high-quality flat polished edges and arrises during continuous production.

Its ten-wheel configuration provides a complete grinding and polishing sequence in a single pass, making the ELB 10 suitable for professional glass processors requiring dependable output, excellent edge quality and reliable long-term operation.

The machine processes glass from 2 to 30 mm thick as standard, with an optional configuration for glass up to 60 mm. Working speeds are continuously adjustable from 0.35 to 5.4 m/min, enabling production to be matched to different glass thicknesses, edge requirements and downstream equipment.

Minimum glass sizes vary according to thickness. Glass up to 6 mm thick can be processed from 40 × 40 mm, while glass up to 19 mm can be processed from 50 × 50 mm or 40 × 80 mm. For glass above 19 mm, the minimum size is 70 × 70 mm.

The ELB 10 is built on Bovone’s robust cast-iron base frame, providing excellent rigidity and stability throughout demanding production cycles. Its precision wheel arrangement, proven spindle technology and user-friendly software support accurate, repeatable processing while helping to reduce setup and maintenance time.

The machine is also available in a Fully Automatic configuration, with automatic wheel-wear compensation, quick wheel setup and visual and audible wheel-change warnings. These functions reduce manual adjustment and help maintain a consistent finishing quality throughout production.

The Bovone ELB 10 can operate as a standalone edging machine or be integrated with a Bovone BVR vertical glass washer, robotic loading and unloading equipment and complete automated processing cells.
