About the CMS Agil TR Automatic Glass Cutting Table

The CMS Agil TR is a compact and highly versatile glass cutting table developed for automatic cutting of monolithic float glass and Low-e glasses.

CMS describes the Agil TR as the โ€œSwiss Army knifeโ€ of cutting tables because it combines a compact footprint with a wide range of cutting and glass-handling capabilities.

The machine is equipped with four loading and unloading arms, helping the operator handle large glass sheets safely and efficiently.

A controlled C axis allows the cutting head to perform both straight and shaped cuts, making the table suitable for standard rectangular production as well as complex custom glass components.

The Agil TR can process glass sheets up to 3810 ร— 2600 mm and thicknesses from 2 to 19 mm.

Its double-zero system supports semi-automatic laminated-glass cutting, allowing laminated sheets to be processed alongside standard monolithic glass.

The machine reaches a maximum positioning speed of 200 m/min and acceleration of up to 10 m/sยฒ, supporting fast movement between cuts and high daily productivity.

Axis positioning accuracy of ยฑ0.15 mm helps maintain accurate cutting geometry across both straight and shaped components.

The table includes straight- and shaped-cut optimisation software, allowing the cutting layout to be organised to improve material use and reduce waste.

Two main breakout bars and one additional breakout bar assist with separating cut glass after scoring.

The maximum unloadable sheet weight is 350 kg.

The standard working surface height is approximately 925 mm, helping provide a practical loading and operating height for the user.

Optional automatic tool changing uses a five-position magazine located close to the cutting head. CMS states that a tool change can be completed in approximately four seconds.

This allows the table to move quickly between different cutting and processing tools without repeated manual intervention.

An optional Low-E coating-removal system uses a dedicated grinding wheel to remove coating automatically before cutting or processing.

The system can remove a 20 mm-wide strip of coating at speeds up to 40 m/min.

A vinyl-removal system is also available for suitable coated or protected glass applications.

The compact design and low installed power requirement make the Agil TR suitable for both established glass processors and companies introducing automated cutting into a smaller production area.

Typical applications include glass doors, windows, structural faรงades, shower enclosures, mirrors, tables, oven glass, cooktop glass and photovoltaic components.

Stone & Glass Group supplies and supports the CMS Agil TR throughout the UK, Ireland and the Benelux, including machine specification, installation, commissioning, operator training, software, spare parts and ongoing technical service.
