Bovone 462 Glass Bevelling Machine

The Bovone 462 is a high-performance straight-line glass bevelling machine designed for professional glass processors requiring excellent bevel quality, high production speeds and proven long-term reliability.

Its twelve-wheel configuration provides a complete grinding and polishing sequence for producing consistently high-quality bevelled glass in one continuous pass. The machine is particularly suited to medium and high-volume production where finish quality, repeatability and reduced downtime are essential.

The Bovone 462 processes glass from 3 to 25 mm thick at working speeds from 0.35 to 5.4 m/min. An optional high-speed configuration increases the maximum working speed to 10 m/min, allowing the machine to support demanding production requirements.

The standard minimum glass size is 50 × 50 mm. Glass down to 35 × 35 mm can also be processed when wheel eight is disabled. This gives manufacturers additional flexibility when handling smaller components.

Built on Bovone’s heavy-duty cast-iron base frame, the 462 provides exceptional rigidity and machining stability. This reduces vibration and torsion during processing, supporting accurate, repeatable bevels and consistently high polishing quality across long production runs.
