About the Bovone 461+1 Glass Bevelling Machine
The Bovone 461+1 is a premium straight-line glass bevelling machine designed for professional glass processors that demand exceptional bevel quality together with a perfectly polished front arris.
Its advanced wheel configuration allows bevel grinding, polishing and front arris finishing to be completed in one continuous production cycle. A dedicated front arris polishing wheel produces a clean, consistent finish, making the machine ideal for architectural glass, mirrors, furniture glass and other applications where the finished edge remains visible.
The machine processes glass from 3 to 25 mm thick at working speeds of 0.35 to 5.4 m/min, with an optional 10 m/minhigh-speed configuration available for increased production output. It produces a 2 mm front arris and is capable of processing glass from 35 × 35 mm, including long narrow pieces from 25 × 500 mm.
Built on Bovone's heavy-duty cast-iron base frame, the 461+1 delivers exceptional rigidity and machining accuracy while minimising vibration during production. Precision spindle technology and simple operator controls provide repeatable, high-quality bevels with minimal setup time and straightforward maintenance.
