About the Bovone 251+1 Glass Bevelling Machine

The Bovone 251+1 is a robust straight-line glass bevelling machine designed for glass processors requiring excellent bevel quality together with dedicated front arris finishing.

Bevel grinding, polishing and arris processing are completed during one continuous pass, reducing glass handling and eliminating the need for a separate edge-finishing operation. A dedicated polishing wheel for the front arris helps produce a clean and consistent finish across every production cycle.

The machine processes glass from 3 to 25 mm thick at working speeds between 0.35 and 5.4 m/min. During dubbing and arris processing, the working speed is up to 2.5 m/min, with a front arris width of approximately 2 mm. It can process glass from 35 ร— 35 mm, as well as long narrow pieces from 25 ร— 500 mm.

Built on Bovoneโ€™s heavy-duty cast-iron base frame, the 251+1 provides exceptional stability and minimises torsion during machining. This rigid construction supports accurate, repeatable bevel production while maintaining reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.

Simple operator controls, proven spindle technology and straightforward access for maintenance make the Bovone 251+1 a dependable solution for glassworks seeking high-quality bevel and arris finishing from a single machine.

Stone & Glass Group supplies the Bovone 251+1 throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Benelux, supported by installation, commissioning, operator training, tooling, spare parts, servicing and comprehensive after-sales support.
