FORWARD GLASS INVESTS IN AUTOMATED SEAMING & WASHING TECHNOLOGY

Another successful installation completed by the Stone and Glass Group team.

Forward Glass has invested in a new CMS Aura Vertical Dry Seaming Machine integrated with an Atlantic Vertical+ Glass Washer, creating a fully automated seaming and washing solution for insulating glass production.

The CMS Aura automatically seams glass edges without the use of water, providing a clean, efficient and highly automated process while automatically measuring glass dimensions and adapting to different glass thicknesses.

Working seamlessly inline, the Atlantic Vertical+ Washer then delivers thorough glass cleaning through its multi-stage washing process, ensuring glass leaves the line ready for the next stage of production.

The new line provides Forward Glass with:

✔ Fully automatic dry seaming

✔ No water consumption during edge seaming

✔ Automatic glass measurement and thickness adjustment

✔ High-speed processing up to 25 m/min

✔ Complete dust extraction and collection

✔ Atlantic vertical washing technology

✔ Hot wash and rinse system

✔ Improved production flow from seaming through to washing
