Ikosiwire Multi Wire

The Pellegrini Ikosiwire is a high-performance multi-wire diamond saw developed for the productive cutting of marble, granite and natural stone blocks into slabs.

Designed to operate with up to 23 diamond wires, Ikosiwire provides a significant increase in productivity compared with lower-wire-count machines while retaining the flexibility required by stone processors producing different slab dimensions and thicknesses.

A major advantage of the Ikosiwire concept is its ability to produce mixed slab thicknesses. Rather than limiting production to a single fixed spacing, the machine can be configured around different finished-product requirements, making it suitable for manufacturers producing a varied range of architectural and dimensional stone products.

The machine incorporates Pellegrini's patented double-tensioning system, designed to provide accurate control of the individual diamond wires throughout the cutting process.

Multi-wire diamond cutting allows several parallel cuts to be made through the stone block simultaneously, significantly increasing output compared with conventional single-wire block processing.

This makes Ikosiwire particularly attractive for companies moving towards higher-volume slab production but which still require greater production flexibility than a machine dedicated exclusively to one standard slab thickness.
