DF 2000/2400/2500/3000 Single Wire

The Pellegrini DF 2000 / 2400 / 2500 / 3000 TOP range consists of heavy-duty single-wire diamond saws designed for squaring natural stone blocks and cutting slabs.

Built around an extremely rigid steel structure, the DF range is designed to provide the stability, durability and cutting precision required when processing large blocks of marble, granite and other natural stone materials.

Different machine versions provide maximum cutting heights of 2,000 mm, 2,400 mm, 2,500 mm or 3,000 mm, allowing the machine to be selected according to the size of blocks being processed.

A key feature of the DF design is the use of two large-diameter flywheels. Depending on the version, Pellegrini uses 2,000 mm or 2,500 mm diameter flywheels. The large wheel diameter reduces bending of the diamond wire during operation, helping to reduce wire fatigue and increase diamond wire life.

Diamond wire tension is controlled hydraulically through one of the main flywheels. This provides consistent tension during the cutting process and contributes to reliable and accurate cutting.

The TOP configuration incorporates an inverter for variable diamond wire speed, allowing the operator to adapt the cutting speed to the characteristics of the stone being processed.

Machine operation is managed through a PLC integrated into the electrical control system with touchscreen operator interface, providing straightforward control of the cutting process.

With its combination of large cutting capacity, rigid construction and controlled diamond-wire operation, the DF range provides a versatile solution for block squaring, block sizing and slab production in natural stone processing facilities and suitable quarry block-processing operations.

The four available cutting heights allow producers to select a machine appropriate to their normal block dimensions without moving unnecessarily to a substantially larger machine.
