Bovone Stonedge 10 Stone Edging Polishing Machine

The Bovone Stonedge 10 is a straight-line stone edging machine designed to produce consistently high-quality flat polished edges and arrises on stone, ceramic and engineered materials.

Its ten-wheel configuration performs the complete grinding, refining and polishing process in a single pass. This allows fabricators to achieve accurate, repeatable edges while reducing manual handling and the need for separate finishing operations.

Bovone positions the Stonedge 10 as the ideal solution for producing samples and small-format components. The machine can process pieces as small as 40 × 40 mm, depending on material thickness, making it particularly useful for samples, display pieces, skirting, narrow components and detailed fabrication work.

The machine processes materials from 3 to 60 mm thick. Working speed is continuously adjustable from 0.35 to 5.4 m/min, allowing the production parameters to be matched to the material, thickness, required material removal and desired polishing quality.

For materials up to 6 mm thick, the minimum published size is 40 × 40 mm. From 6 to 19 mm thick, the minimum sizes are 50 × 50 mm or 40 × 80 mm. For material above 19 mm thick, the minimum size is 70 × 70 mm.

The Stonedge 10 produces a flat edge with front and rear arrises up to 5 mm wide. Its wheel arrangement combines metallic diamond wheels, resin-bond diamond wheels and polishing wheels to provide a controlled progression from stock removal through to final finishing.

The machine is built on Bovone’s robust cast-iron base frame. This rigid construction helps reduce vibration, maintain accurate wheel alignment and support consistent edge quality throughout continuous production.

Its long infeed and outfeed supports provide stable material handling, while the pressure belts securely guide the workpiece through each processing position.

The Stonedge 10 is suitable for marble, granite, quartz, ceramic, porcelain, sintered materials and engineered stone, subject to the selected tooling package.

Simple and accessible controls allow operators to manage production speed, material thickness and processing settings efficiently. Tooling and maintenance areas are designed for straightforward access, helping minimise setup time and production downtime.

The machine can be installed as a standalone edging solution or integrated with material-handling systems and additional production equipment according to the customer’s requirements.
