About the Cms Brembana JetPower Evo High-Pressure Waterjet Intensifier

The CMS Brembana JetPower Evo is a high-pressure intensifier developed for demanding abrasive and pure-water waterjet-cutting applications.

Unlike traditional intensifiers that use opposed cylinders, the JetPower Evo uses multiple independent pressure multipliers arranged in parallel and synchronised electronically.

This configuration is designed to produce a highly stable high-pressure output, reducing the pressure fluctuations commonly associated with traditional intensifier designs.

A more consistent pressure signal helps maintain stable waterjet velocity at the cutting head. This supports improved cut quality, more consistent edge conditions and reliable machining across long or complex cutting cycles.

The JetPower Evo does not require a conventional pressure accumulator. Instead, the electronically synchronised pressure multipliers work together to maintain the required operating pressure.

The parallel-cylinder architecture also operates at a relatively low cycling frequency. This helps reduce wear on high-pressure seals, pipework and other critical components within the waterjet circuit.

Lower component wear can increase service life and reduce the frequency of maintenance interventions, particularly in machines operating for long production shifts.

The JetPower Evo is available with two or three independent pressure multipliers.

The two-cylinder version is designed for standard waterjet production requirements, while the three-cylinder version provides a higher maximum water flow for demanding cutting applications or larger orifice sizes.

With the three-cylinder configuration, an individual multiplier that requires maintenance can be removed from the operating cycle while the remaining cylinders continue to function.

This allows the operator to plan maintenance around production requirements rather than stopping the complete waterjet system immediately.

Cutting pressure is controlled electronically through the machine software. The control system also monitors operating temperature, pressure and filter condition.

A variable-flow hydraulic pump adapts the hydraulic system to the waterjetโ€™s operating requirements, helping manage oil consumption and operating efficiency.

The hydraulic-cylinder return circuit uses a separate pump, providing independent control of the return function.

Cooling of the hydraulic circuit is provided by an air-to-oil heat exchanger. A water-to-oil cooling option may be specified for applications or factory environments where alternative cooling is required.

The JetPower Evo can be connected to CMS waterjet cutting systems including the Easyline, Smartline, Proline, Aquatec and Brembana Milestone S.

It can also be connected to other compatible waterjet cutting tables, subject to technical assessment and system integration.

The intensifier is available in 30 HP and 60 HP configurations.

The JetPower Evo 30 HP uses two pressure multipliers and delivers a maximum operating pressure of 4150 bar, with a maximum water flow of approximately 2.5 litres per minute.

The JetPower Evo 60 HP uses three pressure multipliers and provides the same maximum operating pressure, with water flow up to approximately 5 litres per minute.

The 30 HP version supports an orifice diameter up to approximately 0.28 mm, while the 60 HP version supports an orifice diameter up to approximately 0.40 mm.

The selected intensifier should be matched to the cutting head, material type, thickness, required cutting speed, number of cutting heads and expected production hours.

Stone & Glass Group supplies and supports CMS Brembana JetPower Evo intensifiers throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland for glass and stone waterjet applications. Glass systems are also supported throughout the Benelux.

Support includes pump selection, waterjet-system integration, installation, commissioning, operator and maintenance training, service, high-pressure components and spare parts.
