About the Compact Storage for Slabs
The Mistrello Compact Storage for Marble Slabs is a space-saving storage system developed for stone processors looking to improve the organisation, accessibility and safety of slab storage while making significantly better use of available factory space.
Rather than using conventional fixed A-frames with permanent access aisles between each storage position, the Mistrello system uses mobile storage racks running on floor-mounted rails. The racks can be positioned closely together when not in use, with an access aisle created only where the required material needs to be retrieved.
This compact arrangement allows a large number of slabs to be stored within a relatively small area, helping stone companies maximise valuable factory and warehouse space while keeping different materials organised and readily accessible.
The system is suitable for storing marble, granite, quartz, engineered stone, ceramic and other large-format slabs, making it suitable for fabricators handling a wide variety of materials, colours and thicknesses.
Individual racks can be moved to provide access to the required slab position, allowing material to be selected and removed without permanently dedicating valuable floor space to multiple access aisles.
The modular design means the storage system can be configured around the customer's available space, slab dimensions, required number of storage positions and preferred material-handling method.
