About the R&R AKT and Quadrobot

All you need for fully automatic Georgian bar assembly. R&R pioneered Georgian bar assembly in spacer frames and built the first assembly table with an integrated measuring device. The range now runs from tables for manual insertion of bars to fully automatic screw driving robots, with particular focus on R&R fastening technique.

In the era of triple insulating glass, Georgian bars are generally used at low mounting heights of 8 mm or even 5 mm. Screwing the spacer frames gives much higher stability than riveted edge connections, and avoids breaking thermoplastic spacer profiles during riveting.

AKT series assembly table:

  • Assembly table with measuring and fixing systems
  • Pneumatic clamping of the spacer frames
  • Pneumatic centring of the bars on the connection dimension
  • Riveting pistols on carts with guide rails or free hanging
  • Automatic positioning of the pistols, so misses are eliminated even with small bars
  • Also available as a manual or semi automatic connection table
  • No set-up time for different bar profiles and spacer frames thanks to special centre clamping
