AKT Series Georgian Bar Assembly Tables

The R&R AKT Series is a range of Georgian bar assembly tables developed for the accurate and efficient installation of Georgian bars into spacer frames used in insulating glass production.

The tables combine measuring and fixing systems with pneumatic clamping of the spacer frame. Georgian bars are pneumatically centred at the required connection position, helping operators achieve repeatable and accurate assembly.

R&R's special centre-clamping system automatically positions the Georgian bar in the centre of the spacer, eliminating set-up time when changing between different Georgian bar profiles and spacer-frame widths.

Depending on configuration, riveting pistols can be mounted on guided carriages or suspended freely. Automatic positioning of the pistols helps prevent missed fixing points, including when processing narrow Georgian bar profiles.

The AKT Series is also available as a manual or semi-automatic screw connection table, allowing manufacturers to select the level of automation that best suits their production requirements.

For modern warm-edge applications, a special heating device is available for installing Georgian bars into low-psi spacer profiles. Tables are available in different sizes to suit varying IGU production requirements.
