Atlantic Sealed Unit Clamping Table

The Atlantic Sealed Unit Clamping Table, also known as an Edge Press, is designed to improve the efficiency and quality of secondary sealing during insulated glass production. Used alongside hot melt sealing equipment, the table securely clamps insulated glass units in position, allowing a single operator to complete the sealing process quickly, accurately and safely.

The pneumatic clamping system is operated using a conveniently positioned foot pedal, leaving both hands free for sealant application. Both the clamping pressure and the speed of the jaw movement can be fully adjusted, allowing the machine to accommodate a wide variety of insulated glass units while ensuring consistent sealing quality.

Heavy-duty multi-directional swivel rollers allow glass units to be rotated effortlessly during sealing, reducing manual handling and improving operator comfort. The innovative open-ended jaw design enables glass units larger than the table itself to be sealed with the same ease and efficiency as smaller units, providing maximum flexibility for manufacturers producing a wide range of glass sizes.

The cushioned clamping jaw accommodates insulated glass units up to 42 mm thick, protecting the glass while maintaining secure clamping pressure throughout the sealing operation. Three standard table sizes are available, with custom-built solutions also available to suit individual production requirements.
