Bovone Glass Tools

Bovone Glass Tools are developed and manufactured by Bovone Diamond Tools, the specialist tooling division dedicated to high-performance solutions for flat-glass processing.

The range includes diamond wheels, resin-bond wheels, polishing wheels, CNC peripheral wheels, routers, grooving wheels, prismatic wheels, core drills and specialist consumables for glass edging, bevelling, drilling, milling and polishing.

Bovone Diamond Tools supplies tooling for Bovone machinery as well as glass-processing machines from other manufacturers. This makes the range suitable for straight-line edging machines, bevelling machines, CNC machining centres, manual equipment and automated production systems.

Metal-bond cup wheels and peripheral wheels are available for flat-glass edging and bevelling applications. Different profiles, dimensions and bond specifications can be selected according to the machine, glass type, processing speed and required finish.

Resin-bond cup wheels are available in a range of working-band widths and thicknesses. Continuous, open-segment and closed-segment configurations allow the tooling package to be matched to different grinding and finishing requirements.

CNC peripheral wheels are available in profiles and diameters from 25 to 150 mm. These tools support accurate contouring, edging and profile processing across a wide range of CNC glass-processing machines.

The Goldnet range has been developed specifically for laminated glass. Its design helps reduce chipping and breakage while delivering even wear, low noise, reduced vibration, strong cutting performance and extended working life.

Routers are available in diameters from 8 to 25 mm with three, four, five or six segments. These tools are designed for precise milling and internal glass-processing operations.

Grooving wheels are available in V-shaped, U-shaped and customised profiles. Continuous and segmented configurations can be supplied for both manual and automatic machines.

Prismatic wheels are available for the production of automotive rear-view mirrors and other specialist prism-shaped glass products. Diameters and specifications are selected according to the relevant production line.

Bovone Diamond Tools can also manufacture special cup and peripheral wheels from customer drawings. Custom diameters, profiles, bonds and configurations allow tooling to be developed for specialist edging machines, shape-processing equipment and bespoke applications.

The range also includes high-speed diamond core drills, countersinks and combined drill-and-countersink tools. Diamond drill sizes are available for a broad range of glass-drilling requirements.

Complementary products include polishing wheels, synthetic and wool felt wheels, cerium oxide and coolant oils. These consumables help support consistent polishing quality and reliable machine performance.
