About the Compact 4C Automatic Glass Screen Printing Machine
The Cugher Compact 4C is an automatic glass screen printing machine developed for fast, precise and highly repeatable production of flat glass, particularly for the home appliance industry.
Developed as the latest evolution of Cugher's Compact Series, the Compact 4C features a four-column structure instead of the traditional two-column configuration. This allows the machine to support a wider printing head and process larger glass formats while retaining the compact design and high production performance associated with the Compact range.
Glass is automatically transported through the machine using a belt system, while the printing process is controlled to provide accurate and consistent positioning. Motorised movements and pneumatic locking systems simplify machine setup and help reduce production changeover times.
A particularly useful feature of the Compact 4C is the ability to extract the screen frame for cleaning without losing its registration. This allows the operator to clean the screen and return it to production without repeating the complete alignment process.
The machine also features motorised automatic peel-off, digital proportional valves, pneumatic screen-frame locking and pneumatic squeegee and scraper locking. The printing carriage can be rotated to provide easier access during cleaning and production changes.
Compact 4C is also prepared for Cugher's Edge-to-Edge printing technology, providing additional flexibility for applications requiring printing close to or directly up to the glass edge.
The machine can operate as a standalone screen printer or form part of a fully automated Cugher production line incorporating drying, glass handling, robotic automation and vision inspection systems.
