GL Loader

The Mistrello GL Loader is an automatic vacuum loading and unloading system developed for the safe and efficient handling of jumbo glass sheets between storage and the cutting line.

The GL 6000 is designed to handle PLF jumbo glass with sheet dimensions up to 6000 × 3210 mm and glass thicknesses from 3 to 19 mm, including Low-E glass.

Using a vacuum lifting system, the GL automatically picks individual sheets from the storage position and transfers them to the cutting table. The complete loading process is automated, reducing manual handling of large sheets while providing a consistent supply of glass to production.

The machine travels at floor level on dedicated rails. This makes it a flexible solution for many factory layouts and avoids the need for a large overhead handling structure.

A major advantage of the GL is its ability to work with different types of glass storage. It can be integrated directly with Mistrello automatic compact storage systems, creating a fully automated link between stock and cutting, or used with traditional fixed glass storage racks.

The GL can supply one or multiple glass cutting tables, making it particularly suitable for medium and large glass processors looking to automate the flow of jumbo stock glass into their cutting department. Mistrello specifically highlights rapid sheet pick-up and placement together with improved operator safety.
