About the Robotic Applications
The Cugher Robotic Applications range provides customised industrial robot solutions for automating glass handling and production processes.
Drawing on Cugher's extensive experience in industrial automation, each robotic system is engineered around the individual production requirement, considering the glass dimensions, process, available factory space, existing machinery and required production performance.
Cugher integrates anthropomorphic industrial robots with up to 6 axes, providing the flexibility required to perform complex movements and accurately manipulate glass throughout the production process.
A key part of each project is the design of the end-of-arm tooling. Cugher engineers the gripping and manipulation equipment around the glass and required operation, together with the surrounding conveyors and handling systems needed to create a complete automated solution.
Robotic applications can be used for automatic loading and unloading, glass transfer, palletising and other repetitive handling operations, helping maintain continuous production while reducing manual handling.
For applications requiring particularly accurate positioning, Cugher can combine the robot with vision technology. The vision system provides real-time positioning information to the robot, allowing it to make automatic adjustments and maintain consistent process accuracy.
