About the Dryers (IR, UV and Combi)
The Cugher Dryer range provides industrial drying and curing solutions for automated glass printing lines, with IR, UV and combined IR/UV configurations available to suit different inks and production processes.
Designed as an integral part of the production line, Cugher dryers provide controlled and repeatable process conditions while allowing different temperature curves to be created within individual modules. The systems are suitable for both screen and digital printing applications.
IR Dryers
Cugher IR Dryers combine infrared lamps with controlled air distribution to provide fast and uniform heating across the glass surface.
Conveyor speed can be adjusted according to production requirements, while the Power Saving system allows lamp output to be matched to the type of glass being processed. Process settings can be stored as recipes and recalled from the operator panel, providing repeatable production and faster changeovers.
An integrated cooling section gradually reduces the glass temperature before it leaves the dryer.
UV Dryers
Cugher UV Dryers provide controlled UV curing for compatible glass printing applications.
Dedicated shielding at the inlet and outlet protects operators from UV radiation, while digital lamp management provides precise process control and helps optimise both productivity and energy consumption.
IR/UV Combi Dryers
The Cugher Combi Dryer combines both technologies within one production system, providing manufacturers with considerably greater flexibility.
The system consists of three sections: an IR heating section, a UV curing section and an IR cooling section.
When UV curing is selected, the IR sections operate as conveyors. When IR processing is selected, the UV section operates as a conveyor. This allows different drying and curing processes to be carried out on the same production line.
