About the JRS Glass ONE
The JRS Glass ONE is a compact horizontal CNC machine developed specifically for the drilling, milling and countersinking of flat glass.
Combining the compact footprint normally associated with a vertical machine with the technical advantages of horizontal processing, ONE is designed to deliver high productivity while using relatively little factory floor space.
At the heart of the machine are two opposing Decagonal High-Power Units (DHPU), each capable of carrying up to 10 tools, providing a total of 20 spindles. The turret can rotate and position the next tool in less than one second, significantly reducing non-productive tool-change time.
Spindle speeds of up to 15,000 rpm provide the performance required for high-quality machining, small-diameter drilling and processing thicker glass. The machine can perform drilling and milling together with fully automatic countersinking on both the upper and lower sides of the hole.
ONE processes flat glass from 3 to 25 mm thick and is available in three models with working widths of 1350 mm, 1700 mm and 2000 mm. Glass length is unrestricted by the working area, allowing long sheets to be processed without limitations on the distance between machining operations.
The standard configuration incorporates 20 Driven Tool Stations (DTS) โ 10 upper and 10 lower โ while the integrated CAD-CAM software allows 2D drawings to be imported and automatically converted into executable machining programs.
The machine is completely enclosed with interlocked access doors, preventing operator access to moving components during machining. The enclosed design also reduces water reaching the factory floor by up to 90%.
ONE has also been designed around flexibility. Glass flow can be configured left-to-right or right-to-left, and importantly, this configuration can be changed even after installation if the factory layout or production requirements change.
Manufactured in Italy, the JRS Glass ONE combines compact dimensions, powerful horizontal processing, rapid tool positioning and straightforward operation in a machine designed specifically around efficient glass drilling and machining.
