About the Steinex Compact Plants and Composite Lines
Igloo hydraulic machines can be combined with auxiliary equipment such as Sherpa conveyors, feeders, hoppers, lifters and manipulators to improve productivity, reduce operator effort and optimise safety. Igloo models can act as primary or secondary shearing machines depending on the model and the desired end product, with a standard hydraulic power unit or higher performance 11 kW or 15 kW units.
Steinex produces a series of compact Igloo and Sherpa plants so customers can find the ideal solution for their production needs. Menhir presses can be configured with Sherpa handling for splitting large, hard rough blocks, and composite lines can pass semi finished pieces from a primary Menhir through to Igloo machines for cubes or wall stones.
Configurations:
- Igloo 400, 480, 500 and 600 with Sherpa T heavy steel slat conveyor
- Igloo 480, 500 and 600 with Sherpa BT for loading single blocks by fork or crane
- Broadway with Sherpa 600x320, 800x280 and 1280x400 for stone with two regular or sawn surfaces
- Menhir with Sherpa, 3RB and 6RB series, for large, hard rough blocks
- Menhir with Sherpa 1000 series 3RB, 1000 mm tool width and 1295 mm passage span
- Menhir with Sherpa 1300 series 3RB, 1300 mm tool width, 1580 mm passage span and 320 tonnes splitting force
