About the Steinex Broadway
Broadway splitting machines are designed to shear wide and very thin materials using a special double frame system in which the inner frame is movable. The inner frame raises the lower blade while the upper blade moves down, so workpieces placed on the fixed table are always sheared with a precise edge.
Thanks to the RB or 2RB individual adaptation system, each tool applies the right pressure to the piece, giving high split quality and reduced processing waste. The machines are ideal for producing tiles from slabs or from natural quarry plan stone, and they shear all types of stratified stone with a natural quarry surface, or monolithic stone with two sawn surfaces.
The sizes 800, 1000 and 1280 refer to the overall tool width; the blade is always larger, allowing larger pieces to be split.
