About the Steinex Automatic Lines
For over 45 years Steinex has built automated systems for producing cubes and artefacts with sawn surfaces, made by splitting slabs that come from sawing monolithic blocks. Slabs can have sawn, flamed or bush hammered surfaces up to 1600 mm wide and 600 mm thick.
A complete range of semi automatic and fully automatic machines and plants meets the needs of demanding customers. Each Menhir model has a high efficiency silenced hydraulic power unit, with pump options such as rising ramp or variable flow rate to adjust the speed at which the blade begins to press the stone. Power packs can be fitted with oil heating or cooling.
Examples:
- Menhir with Sherpa 1300x600 2C, with two side cylinders driving both blades at 240 tonnes and the 3RB adaptation system
- CUB AUT plants in 2M-FM and 3M-FM versions, using Menhir 1300x320 at 220 tonnes and 1600x320 at 320 tonnes, for cubes, slabs and boulders
