About the Sasso Fl@t
The new Fl@t is the first edge polisher that automatically adjusts head pressure to suit your work. Self setting and intuitive, it delivers effortless, perfect results. The intuitive parameter programming system makes it possible to store and name machining recipes by material, thickness, pressure and type of profile, saving them in a dedicated directory so they can be recalled easily whenever that machining is repeated.
The Fl@t combines advanced technology and robust design to deliver excellent performance in edge machining. The option to add multifunction spindles for special workings increases operational versatility. The hot dip galvanised construction ensures a long service life, while the ability to work high thicknesses makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications.
The innovative spindle working pressure adjustment system can be set and stored directly from the touchscreen alongside the other parameters. The Fl@t is also a benchmark for safety, being fully enclosed: at the front by pneumatically opening fibreglass casing, and at the rear by galvanised and painted safety doors. It includes automatic shutdown of the conveyor belt at the end of processing.
