About the Fast Series
The Fast Series is a high speed printing machine for the home appliance industry. The printing bridge carries an anti drip system and keeps squeegee bar and scraper pressure constant, set from the recipe on the operator panel. Independent speeds can be set for the squeegee bar and scraper, and frame registration is quick and micrometric in every direction, including rotation.
Cugher describes the height control as working like a digital caliber: the vertical movement of the printing bridge is controlled with position precision better than 0.1 mm, with the zero set by the perfectly flat printing table and the target height entered on the touch panel. The anodised, ground aluminium printing table is fitted with belts so even drilled glass can be handled, and the head raises up to 500 mm for easy cleaning and maintenance.
With a maximum glass size of 800 x 1000 mm the Fast Series prints up to 600 glasses per hour at a six second cycle, and recipes allow quick setup and changeover.
