About the Putsch Meniconi SVP 1080
The SVP 1080 is Putsch Meniconi's automatic vertical panel saw for the glass sector, built for cutting laminated glass of high thickness, along with armoured, bullet resistant and fire resistant glass. The rotating diamond disc head makes both vertical and horizontal cuts, so a sheet can be cut without being handled or moved.
The machine is the result of experience gained since 1980 and is designed for safety glass, fire resistant glass, bullet proof glass, armoured glass, laminated glass and multilayer glass.
Key features:
- Heavy steel frame on welded steel pedestals, with upper and lower rails carrying the sliding beam and cutting unit
- Water resistant supporting back plane with fixed and movable elements for accurate levelling of the glass sheet
- Sawing assembly with a vertical sliding carriage and diamond disc head, carrying the main motor and locking elements so it can move along the panel and lock in position
- Beam sliding the full length of the machine, with the operating board mounted on the arm
- Inclined cuts from 10° to 45° in 5° steps (including 22°30′) for thicknesses up to 45 mm
- Pneumatic shim device for horizontal cuts, operated from the control board at any cutting height while the operator stands on the ground
- Continuous feed regulation by potentiometer for both horizontal and vertical cutting, with a PLC and touch panel managing cutting programs
Optional glass inspection station:
- Inspect for defects that may not have been detected and do not appear on the optimisation sheet
- Supports effective optimisation of the stock sheet
- Space saving solution for efficient inspection
