CulletScanner

The CulletScanner from Softsolution performs automatic fragmentation image analysis on tempered glass, including architectural, automotive and window glass and shower doors. A new tilt function lets it scan every test lite at the highest resolution. Each fragment is viewed from a 90 degree angle, and the entire fragmentation image is evaluated precisely and completely within seconds.

For every fragment the system determines position, size, length, area and weight. Exclusion areas along the outer contour and the point of impact are taken into account. The CulletScanner analyses the whole glass lite and automatically checks the areas with the most, fewest, largest and longest fragments, highlighting and re-analysing those positions.

The software supports the established industry standards, including EN 12150, EN 14179, EN 14428, ANSI Z97.1 and others. Each scan is stored digitally in a CulletScanner project file at the highest resolution with no quality loss, and a certificate is generated automatically in PDF format, listing the analysis areas, the associated order, the furnace type and an overall result. Optional anisotropy and edge stress functions are available.
