About the Maroso Glass Autoclave
The glass sector uses autoclaves for the laminating production of flat, curved and special glasses, both tempered and hardened. The laminating process produces a composite glass, made of two or more sheets of glass with a plastic or ionoplast interlayer between them. Through precise control of the pressurisation, heating and depressurisation phases, Maroso autoclaves deliver a high quality laminating process. In case of a blackout, the machine holds pressure and preserves the integrity of the parts inside, allowing the cycle to be interrupted and later restored.
Each autoclave is designed to the customer requirements and integrated into the laminating glass production line. The positioning is optimised to the factory layout, the lines and services; the thermodynamic design is tuned for maximum performance at low energy use; and the trolleys are customised in shape and size to use the internal volume efficiently. The door opening system is designed to reduce the space needed to open, and the machine connects to the customer IT infrastructure for process data download.
Laminated glass produced in Maroso autoclaves is used in building, interior architecture and security glazing (shatter proof, burglar proof, bullet proof, explosion proof, fire proof and hurricane proof), as well as truck and car windscreens. Maroso is able to manufacture autoclaves with a useful diameter from 1 m to 4.2 m and beyond, with a length that can exceed 15 m.
