About the Mistrello Lifting Grabs
The lifting grabs (glass unloading frames for glass packs) designed and built by Mistrello are equipment dedicated to the glass industry. Controlled by trained and experienced operators, they handle packs of glass of the specified dimensions in safe and manageable conditions.
The frame is a special steel tubular structure designed and sized for the nominal capacities of each model, in line with the regulations in force. An upper hook fixes into one of three available holes to balance the load.
Two adjustable feet on the lower part set the gripping depth by means of a worm screw handwheel, with positive locking so the operator cannot omit the fastening. The upper brackets (hands) adjust by hand to the height and width of the pack, assisted by a counterweight to reduce the force required, again with positive locking. Mirrors make the rear of the pack visible to aid positioning.
Three models are available:
- LP3000/R: 3000 kg capacity, 519 kg device weight
- LP3000/J: 3000 kg capacity, 571 kg device weight
- LP6000: 5900 kg capacity, 899 kg device weight
