About the Robotic Applications

Cugherโ€™s robotic applications optimise the production line: process quality improves because operations are faster, more precise and uniform, labour costs fall compared with manual work, risk in complex or dangerous operations is reduced, and operators move from repetitive tasks to a supervisory role.

Cugher uses anthropomorphic robots with up to six axes, designing the manipulation tool at the end of the arm and the surrounding handling around the operation required by the line. Two families of solutions are offered: robotic islands for material handling, where robot manipulators load, unload and palletise within an automatic workspace that can be quickly reconfigured; and robotic systems combined with vision, where the robot works with a vision system that feeds back real time information for precise positioning.

Cugher manages the robot programming code in house, drawing on decades of experience configuring perfectly synchronised systems, including third party machines. Robots can be built into Cugherโ€™s screen printing line, supplied from loading to unloading, or integrated into existing systems.
