Systron proMD

The Systron proMD is a powerful vertical glass processing centre designed for maximum precision and efficiency with minimal handling. It carries out every processing step in a single machine, so one clamping is enough to reach a finished product with the highest dimensional accuracy.

It seams, mills, countersinks, grinds and polishes external and internal contours, and produces holes and cut outs using drilling and milling tools. Waterjet cutting is available as an option for the most complex contours.

The proMD is a highly efficient solution for both series production and batch size one. When it comes to drilling, cut outs and special shapes, the system delivers ultra short cycle times, a high level of automation and stable processes, even when working demanding low E glass.

Designed for every glass processing challenge:

The patented water cushion brings a new dimension in processing stability: contact free, vibration damped and highly precise. The glass is pressed gently but firmly against the roller wall with no mechanical contact, protecting sensitive surfaces and damping vibration for superior edge quality without chipping. Consistent tool cooling across the whole processing zone keeps the process reliable through long production runs, and the cushion adapts automatically to the glass surface even where there are shape deviations or dimensional tolerances, holding continuous edge parallelism and reducing tool wear.
