Diamantfil®

The Pellegrini Diamantfil® is a compact single-wire diamond saw developed for squaring natural stone blocks and cutting slabs, combining flexible production with a space-efficient machine design.

With useful cutting dimensions of 4.1 × 2.5 metres, Diamantfil® provides substantial block-processing capacity while maintaining the compact footprint that forms an important part of Pellegrini's design philosophy for this machine.

The diamond wire is managed by an electronic tensioning system, helping maintain accurate and responsive control of the wire throughout the cutting cycle. An inverter controls diamond-wire rotational speed, allowing cutting parameters to be adapted to the material being processed.

Machine functions are managed through a PLC with touchscreen interface, providing the operator with straightforward control of the cutting process.

Pellegrini highlights production flexibility as one of the principal advantages of Diamantfil®. The narrow kerf associated with diamond-wire cutting also helps reduce waste of valuable stone material, increasing the usable yield from each block.

The machine has also been designed to reduce unnecessary energy consumption and minimise the foundations required for installation. This combination makes Diamantfil® particularly attractive where producers need significant block and slab cutting capability without the infrastructure associated with much larger traditional cutting systems.
