Het assortiment Cugher Glass Handling Systems biedt geautomatiseerde oplossingen voor het transporteren, positioneren, draaien, heffen en stapelen van vlakglas binnen complete productielijnen.
Cugher-handlingapparatuur wordt ontwikkeld rond het specifieke productieproces en kan glas van verschillende formaten en vormen in meerdere richtingen verplaatsen. Hierdoor kunnen afzonderlijke machines en processen worden verbonden tot één geïntegreerd en gesynchroniseerd productiesysteem.
Een belangrijk uitgangspunt van het Cugher-ontwerp is het minimaliseren van het contactoppervlak tussen de handlingapparatuur en het glas, met behoud van maximale grip en nauwkeurige controle. Dit helpt het glasoppervlak tijdens het transport te beschermen en maakt tegelijkertijd hoge productiesnelheden mogelijk.
Het assortiment omvat bandtransporteurs, rollentransporteurs, hoektransporteurs, draaitafels, laad- en lossystemen, stapelaars, lifttransporteurs, keersystemen, inspectiestations en systemen voor het samenvoegen van glas.
De handlingapparatuur kan volledig worden gesynchroniseerd met omliggende machines en lijnautomatisering, zodat de glasbeweging onderdeel wordt van het complete productierecept.
Systemen kunnen worden ontwikkeld voor individuele machines of complete geautomatiseerde productielijnen en worden aangepast aan de beschikbare fabrieksruimte, glasafmetingen, productiestroom en het gewenste automatiseringsniveau.
